Are 13-week contracts too short?
Hi everyone! After trying 13-week travel contracts, I actually think the length works pretty well. It gives you enough time to settle into a new facility and explore the area, but you’re not tied to one place for too long. The hardest part for me was getting used to moving and organizing everything between assignments. If you’re considering this kind of work, I’d suggest checking out https://tlcallied.com/. They focus on allied health travel jobs and can help with finding assignments, housing, licensing, and other details that make the process easier.

I think 13 weeks can be a good balance. The first couple of weeks usually go by quickly while you’re adjusting, but after that you still have enough time to get comfortable. I guess it mostly depends on how often you’re willing to move and start over in a new place.
